This course covers:
1. Understand how communication is structured (words, tone and body language) and how each of these elements impacts on communication both in person and in writing.
2. Complete their own communication style questionnaire to understand their “colour” and how this affects their communication style.
3. Understand that we all have communication preferences.
4. Understand the Colours Model of communication.
5. Understand how to flex their communication style with different types of people (e.g., colleagues and patients) using the Colours Model.
6. Understand what rapport is and how to build rapport quickly and effectively.
