Meeting the Standards for Educational Supervisors Training Course

The General Medical Council require that all of those who are engaged in training undergraduates or postgraduates are appropriately trained.

This two-day course will ensure that participants will be able to demonstrate compliance with the standards the GMC require for educational supervisors, and be able to apply, should they so wish, for Membership of the Academy of Medical Educators. Colleagues who have been trained and recognised as a clinical supervisor in the past couple of years need only attend “day 2” which will equip them for recognition as an educational supervisor.

Faculty of Health and Life Sciences Handbook
