The following locations may provide training on the ICM Training Programme:

  • Manchester Royal Infirmary, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
  • North Manchester General Hospital, Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust
  • Royal Oldham Hospital, Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust
  • Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, Wrigtington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust
  • Royal Blackburn Hospital, East Lancashire NHS Trust
  • Royal Bolton Hospital, Bolton Foundation Trust
  • Royal Preston Hospital, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
  • Hope Hospital, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust
  • Wythenshawe Hospital, University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust

Anticipated Duration of Programme

ST3 to CCT - Anticipated to be 5 years for single CCT in ICM; if dual CCT then training time may vary depending on other specialty.

LAT - a period of training in this specialty of at least 3 months

Anticipated Outcome of Programme (subject to satisfactory progression)

ST3+ - Completion of Training (CCT) or CESR (CP)
