Training Locations

The main base for the Medical Oncology training programme in the North Western Deanery is The Christie Hospital, Manchester with rotations to the Royal Preston Hospital and Royal Lancaster Hospital as well as external clinics in other locations.

Anticipated Duration of Programme

Usually 5 years

ST3: CCT or CESR (CP)

LAT (Locum Appointment for Training): A period of training in the above specialty

Expected Rotation Information

In the course of training, trainees tend to spend 6 months at both Royal Preston Hospital and Royal Lancaster Infirmary and the remainder of the time at The Christie.
