This course will:
Define what Leadership is in a healthcare context
Explore what is meant by "Leadership at all Levels"; is leadership about
position or title?
Discuss why effective leadership is key to high quality care
Look at principles of effective leaders using lessons from across industry
boundaries, including NASA research
Introduce the principles and benefits of Transformational Leadership, and
the challenges of developing this approach in a complex environment
governed by Transactional Regulation
Help you develop self-awareness of you own natural leadership style
Develop understanding of Situational Leadership; how to adapt your style
appropriately when needed
Give you tools for effective team and task management
