Bio:
Dr Mohan Kumar is a Primary Care Physician, GP Educator, and Author with over 30 years of experience in the NHS. He is a Senior Partner at Kumar Family Practice in Wigan and serves as one of the Deputy Deans of Primary Care for the Postgraduate GP School in North West England. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).
Dr Kumar lectures and facilitates workshops on faculty development across a wide range of themes, including cross-cultural competence, communication skills, advanced teaching techniques, supervision and mentoring, exam support, professionalism, leadership, and resilience. He holds an Honorary Lectureship at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
He is part of the team behind the RCGP Paul Freeling Award-winning communication skills platform, consultationskills.com, which features the TALC (Teaching and Learning Consultation) resources.
