I qualified from Manchester University in 1984 and practice half time as a GP and GP trainer in Stockport. I was appointed an Associate Dean for General Practice in 2003.
I am a thoroughly Northern Lass having been born in Whiston Hospital and I have never lived more than 40 miles from there. I went to Liverpool University and did my GP training in Mersey qualifying in 1998.

I am a GP working from Wigan and a product of North Western Deanery. I have been involved in Medical Education throughout my career. I started as an undergraduate supervisor and subsequently became a GP Trainer after securing the Post Graduate Diploma in Education via the PED course.
I am a GP in an 8 partner practice in Tottington, Bury. I was appointed as a trainer in 1994 and still actively train a GPST. I have previously undertaken the roles of scheme organiser, training programme director and now associate dean.
