Scott Cooper

Bio: 

Scott Cooper was born in East Lancashire and educated at Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School in Rossendale. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of St Andrews and the University of Manchester, qualifying as a General Practitioner in 2005.
Scott worked as a GP Partner in East Lancashire for 17 years and served as a GP Trainer for 14 years, alongside a similar tenure as a GP Appraiser. With a strong passion for promoting self-development, he became an educator on the East Lancashire Programme before being appointed Associate Dean for the GP School in 2020.
He holds ILM Level 5 qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring and has formally mentored several post-CCT Fellows. His commitment to supporting professional growth and reflective practice has been a hallmark of his educational career.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys travelling, walking, and the occasional pint of the black stuff
