Andrew Bracegirdle

Bio: 

Andrew Bracegirdle was born and educated in the North West of England and qualified from Manchester University Medical School in 1988. He entered General Practice following a background in a different medical specialty, bringing a broad range of experience to his GP career. He qualified as a GP and became a partner in 1995, and has been involved in medical education ever since—serving as an undergraduate tutor since 1996 and a GP Educational Supervisor since 2001. He continues to work as both a GP Partner and Educational Supervisor.

Andrew was appointed Associate Dean in 2019, with patch responsibility for Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. His portfolio area is Medical Leadership, which he job-shares with Kirstin.

Outside of medicine, his hobbies include reading, archery, and off-road driving
