Nicola Hulme grew up in the North West of England and returned home after completing her undergraduate training in Birmingham and GP training in the scenic Scottish Borders. She has been a GP Partner for over 20 years and has dedicated the last 18 years to medical education as a GP Trainer and Primary Care Medical Educator.
Nicola now serves as a GP Associate Dean, with responsibility for the Pennine and Greater Manchester Deprivation training schemes. Her work focuses on supporting trainees in areas of high need and fostering excellence in primary care education.
Outside of medicine, Nicola enjoys walking her dogs and passionately supports Manchester City.
