There are many books on leadership, a good book to start with is Effective leadership - How to be a successful leader by John Adair. Full reference:

How to Lead by Jo Owen is described as a practical, essential guide to the theory and practice of leadership. Full reference:

The One Minute Manager by Kenneth Blanchard, Patricia Zigarmi and Drea Zigarmi is a quick, simple read detailing techniques of successful leadership. Full reference:

Effective Coaching - The Orion Business Toolkit by Myles Downey is a practical introductory text on the fundamentals of coaching, key models, tools and skills. Case studies are used throughout. Full reference:
