Code of Practice

Doctors in training have the same needs as other NHS employees.  They want to know as much detail as possible about the programmes and posts they are applying for, where they will be working and their conditions of employment.  This Code of Practice seeks to help recruiting organisations and employers get the flow of information right to help meet those needs as far as it is reasonably practicable to do so.

This Code of Practice aims to support a process of continuing improvement to ensure that any concerns in relation to information are addressed.  It lays out the agreed set of information that recruiting organisations and employers should provide to doctors in training at each stage of the recruitment process.
