Programme Introduction: Research and clinical trials are an everyday part of the NHS. People being cared for in the NHS benefit from past research and will continue to benefit from research that is currently being carried out; high-quality healthcare research helps the NHS to improve future healthcare and well-being. As a doctor you have an important part to play in ensuring that research continues and that research outcomes are communicated widely to enable optimum benefit for patients, families and the population as a whole.
This programme helps delegates to understand the process of research as communication. It is an inter-active with delegates working on their own ideas.
